Kansas University’s 18-sport program produced a cumulative grade point average of 2.89 during the spring semester. It was the highest GPA ever recorded for a semester. Six KU teams posted grade point averages of 3.0 or higher swimming (3.34), women’s tennis (3.25), women’s track (3.2), women’s golf (3.07), softball (3.05) and soccer (3.01). A total of 22 student-athletes recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA and 175 notched at least a 3.0 GPA.
