Cain-Greenwalt

Caryn Alisa Cain and John Ross Greenwalt II, Lawrence, were married May 11, 2002, at Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church, Lawrence, with Pastor John Greenwalt officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Connie Cain, Lawrence, and Mark Cain, Arvada, Colo. The groom is the son of John and Cathy Greenwalt, Taft, Calif.

Maid of honor was Lesley Vink. Bridesmaids were Joanna Morgan, Melanie Pelot and Alicia Greenwalt. Flower girl was Sara Gaskin.

Best man was David Greenwalt. Groomsmen were David Coachman, Michael York and Jeremy McAlexander. Ushers were Aaron Harris and Justin Culp.

A reception followed the ceremony in Morris Hall at Haskell Indian Nations University with a Hawaiian Luau theme celebration later in the evening.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Lawrence High School. She is a teacher’s aide at Ballard Community Center.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Haskell Indian Nations University, where he earned an associate’s degree in media arts. He is a production assistant for Sunflower Broadband Channel 6.

The couple plan to move to Bakersfield, Calif.
