Raiders rained out

The Lawrence Raiders’ baseball game against the Blue Valley Huskies was rained out Wednesday night. It was the second night in a row the 18-and-under American Legion team had its game postponed by poor weather conditions. The Raiders are scheduled to play in a weekend tournament at Hays beginning Friday.

Glass makes cut

Las Vegas Bob Glass of Lawrence was in 23rd place Wednesday after the third round of the PBA Suncoast Senior World Championship and advanced to the fourth round at Suncoast Hotel, Casino, and Bowling Center. Henry Gonzalez of Colorado Springs, Colo., was in first place with an 18-game pinfall of 3,810. Glass had a score of 3,567.
