Kansas University courses in full swing

The students have returned to Kansas University  at least some of them.

Tuesday marked the first day of summer classes at KU.

Though state policy forbids universities from releasing enrollment totals until last day of the summer session, about 10,500 students typically attend summer courses at KU. There were 26,894 students enrolled at KU’s Lawrence and Overland Park campuses this spring.

The summer term runs through July 26. The last day to add or drop a class is June 17.

July 4 is the only holiday scheduled during the summer session.
