David and Megan Wiechert Alden, Aurora, Colo., announce the birth of their daughter Alexa Rae Alden, born May 11, 2002. Grandparents are Allen and Sandra Wiechert, Lawrence.

Megan Wiechert Alden was born and raised in Lawrence and is a 1990 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 1993 graduate of the American University in Washington, D.C. She is a paralegal with the Sherman and Howard law firm in Denver.

The family of Lee Myers, Lawrence, would like to invite family and friends to his 90th birthday celebration. It will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Indian Hills Church of God, Louisiana and 29th streets.

Myers was born in Galena on May 31, 1912. He married Merle Hill July 4, 1934. They have three children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Myers requests no gifts.

Carolyn Predmore, Lawrence, was among 23 individuals who received degrees during commencement at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Predmore received the Master of Divinity degree from Central Seminary.

Predmore maintains her church membership at the First Baptist Church in Lawrence, where she did her minister-in-training work.

Brian Flescher, Lawrence, will attend Interlochen Arts Camp, a summer arts program for youths. Brian, the son of Anne Schulman and Eric Flescher, will study percussion performance at the camp located in Interlochen, Mich.
