She was born July 23, 1929, in Rayborn Mo., the daughter of James and Ethel (Lathrom) Dean.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Guthrie, Lawrence; four brothers, Ralph Dean, Alvin Dean, Russell Dean and Marshall Dean, all of Missouri; a sister, Dessie Bickford, Lawrence; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Betty Farhner, and a son, Bobby Rice, died earlier.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Douglas County, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
