It appears former Kansas University forward Raef LaFrentz is going to remain with the Dallas Mavericks.
The 6-foot-11 LaFrentz is close to signing with Dallas, owner Mark Cuban told the Dallas Morning News.
Free agents can begin signing contracts today. Cuban said he was willing to offer LaFrentz the maximum seven-year contract, and his deal is expected to be worth close to $60 million.
