College Hall makes TV deal
New York ? The College Football Hall of Fame reached a five-year TV agreement with The Football Network to provide content from its museum and archives for programming.
The Football Network, set to launch as its own separate cable network sometime in 2003, acquires the rights to feature National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame events, including the foundation’s annual awards dinner and the enshrinement festival in South Bend, Ind.
Until the official launch, the network plans to purchase time and broadcast on established cable networks.
