Kansas City ? Lawrence’s Bandits fell to the Kansas City Jays, 9-7, on Saturday at the American Legion 16-and-under Zone One tournament.

The Bandits, 1-1 at the tournament, need to win three games today without a loss to win the title.

Jeremy Bustamante went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while Jake Hoover, Brett Lisher and Benson Birdcreek had two hits apiece.

The Bandits, 24-11, will play at 5 p.m. today at KC Eisenhower Field against either Blue Valley West or SM South.
