Glenn Kalb

? Services for Glenn Abraham Kalb, 86, Baldwin, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilson and Son Chapel, Wellsville. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin.

Mr. Kalb died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at Olathe Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 9, 1915, in the Black Jack community near Baldwin, the son of Floyd and Margaret (Black) Kalb. He attended grade school at Black Jack and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1934. He attended Kansas University.

Mr. Kalb was a farmer and stockman his entire life. He also did custom haying and silo filling in the area. He served as treasurer for Palmyra Township Volunteer Fire Department for many years.

He married Mable Edler on March 15, 1949, in Wellsville. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Kermit, Wellsville; a daughter, Glenna McKinney, Perry; and five grandchildren.

An infant son died earlier.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
