She was born Feb. 21, 1914, in Newton, Kan., the daughter of Alvin and Gertrude (Rashong) Benjamin.

Mrs. Murray was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lawrence, Kan.

She married Leslie Murray on May 5, 1931, in Lawrence, Kan. He died earlier.

Survivors include two sons, Myron Murray, Emporia, Kan., and Gailen Murray, Baldwin, Kan.; three daughters, Evelyn Dean and Judy Crissler, both of Socorro, and Sue Shreves, Hot Springs, S.D.; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Steadman-Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
