Ruth Marie Dicker

Longmont, Colo. ? Services for Ruth Marie Dicker, 86, Longmont, Colo., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Central Presbyterian Church, Longmont, Colo. Burial will be in Foothills Gardens of Memory, Longmont.

Mrs. Dicker died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at Life Care Center, Longmont.

She was born Aug. 22, 1915, in Jasper, Mo., the daughter of John W. and Martha A. (Smoots) Hagen. She moved to Longmont in November 1960 from Cottonwood Falls, Kan.

Mrs. Dicker worked as a bookkeeper at J.M. McDonald’s clothing store, Longmont, until it closed. She was then a bookkeeper and receptionist for Dr. H.K. Christensen until her retirement in 1979.

She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star Columbine Chapter 11 of Longmont and the Lois Circle. She also was a past president of her church sewing club.

She married Claude R. Dicker on April 2, 1939, in Lawrence, Kan. He died June 3, 1988.

Survivors include a daughter, Annetta Ramsey, Longmont; a sister, Esther Messer, Lawrence; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, Longmont.
