— Kansas University's men's bowling club placed fifth in the 44-team Hoosier Classic on Sunday.

Wichita State won the men's title.

"We finished ahead of top-ranked Western Illinois," KU coach Mike Fine said. "That's the second consecutive tournament we've finished ahead of the No. 1 team in the country, so we're happy about that."
