Polish pottery provides beauty, function

Host Cathy Hamilton, below right, visits several collectors of Polish pottery this week on “Home and Away.” While military families and other European visitors have known about this colorful, sturdy stoneware for years, Polish pottery only recently hit the mainstream.

Hamilton and her guests will examine the pottery’s history and discuss how modern marketing and production practices empower Polish women.

A new show airs at 6:30 p.m. each Monday on Sunflower Broadband Channel 6 and repeats at 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The show is also broadcast at 9 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 9 a.m. Sunday.

Sunset comes to the Midwest
