College Station, Texas The Kansas women's swimming and diving team remained in fifth place with a score of 315.5 points heading into the final day of the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships.
KU's Gwen Haley and Heidi Landherr paced the Jayhawks as they finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the championship heat of the 400 IM.
In the 200 free, freshman Amy Gruber finished fifth in the championship heat.
Freshman Miranda Isaac finished fifth in the championship heat of the 100 breast, followed by sophomore Kristen Johnson in sixth and freshman Jackie Krueger in eighth.
Sophomore Whitney Sondall tied for seventh in the 100 back championship heat.
KU's Rebecca McFall was sixth in the three-meter diving.
