Wichita ? Haskell Indian Nations University’s women’s basketball team ended its season with a 72-51 loss to Kansas Newman on Monday night.

Senior Charlotte Salabiye led HINU with 17 points, and junior Melissa Mossett added 13.

Both of HINU’s basketball teams finished last in the MCAC during the 2001-2002 season. HINU’s women ended at 6-24 with an 0-12 conference finish.

Haskell’s men finished with a 1-11 league record and a 3-22 overall mark.
