This week on “Home and Away,” host Cathy Hamilton, right, offers a preview of the 17th Annual Lawrence Garden and Home Show and Home Show 2002.

The combined shows will be from Friday to Feb. 24 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 21st Street and Harper Avenue. The Lawrence Garden and Home Show will be in the arena; Home Show 2002 will be in Building 21.

Hours are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday,

9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to

4 p.m. Feb. 24.

Admission, which includes both shows, is $6. Children under 12 are admitted free. On Friday, senior citizens receive $1 off the ticket price.

A new “Home and Away” airs at 6:30 p.m. each Monday on Sunflower Broadband Channel 6 and repeats at 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The show is also broadcast at 9 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
