It was Parent’s NIght at the Clinton Eagles 4-H Club’s February meeting. The parents conducted the Feb. 4 meeting, which was called to order by Marilyn Colgan. Members answered roll call by naming their favorite U.S. president. Donita Bouton read the minutes of the previous meeting. The treasurer’s report was given by Jeri Baldwin.

Rod Heine and Regina Oxford led the club in singing “Happy Birthday” in honor of Lisa Gaston’s 40th birthday. Rod Heine gave the reporter’s report, and Connie Richardson presented the historian’s report.

Lanaea Heine gave a leader’s report. Melissa Richardson presented the foods report. Marilyn Colgan gave the beef report.

Club members who participated in County Club Days were presented with their ribbons. They were: Nicki Snodgrass, blue, Show and Share, and blue, Junior Reading; Hyrum Richardson, blue, Junior Piano Solo; Morgan Manger, purple, Junior Reading; Kirstyn Heine, blue, Junior Illustrated Talk; Kelsey Leinmiller-Renick, top purple, Creative Dramatics; Melissa Richardson, blue, Junior Piano Solo, first alternate purple, Dance, top purple, Vocal Music Ensemble; Jessica Newman, top purple, Vocal Music Ensemble; Kahlyn Heine, blue, Junior Illustrated Talk, blue, Instrumental Ensemble; Alison Richardson, red, Junior Piano Solo, blue, Junior Instrumental Solo, blue, Instrumental Ensemble, first alternate purple, Dance; Haven Bouton, blue, Senior Illustrated Talk; Michelle Colgan, first alternate purple, Senior Impromptu.

The Clinton Eagles Club skit received a top purple. The participants were Simon Fangman, Hyrum Richardson, Nicki Snodgrass, Sandina Oxford, Kirstyn Heine, Jessica Newman, Haven Bouton and Melissa Colgan.

Carrie Fangman led the recreational activity.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. March 4 at Wakarusa Valley School. It will be Junior Officer’s Night.
