Gym Gold Medalists: Shereen Fattaahl and Aly Frydman of the Lawrence Gymnastics Academy earned age group gold medals at Level Four in the Jayhawk Invitational gymnastics meet. Other LGA Level Four age-group placers were Mariah Anstaett, Katlyn Green, Holly Harrison, Carlyn Jones, Rachel Rasmussen, Haley Russell and Paige Ziegler.
Weightlifting Qualifier: Micah Clark and Andrea Stoneback of Lawrence have qualified for the Junior National Weightlifting meet on March 8-10 in Los Angeles. Stoneback, 17, and Clark, 14, qualified at a meet last Saturday in St. Joseph, Mo.
Enloe Ace: Rick Enloe used a seven-iron to record a hole-in-one on the 125-yard No. 8 hole at Eudora Riverview Golf Club. Witnesses were Frank Moss, Jim Taylor, Gary Stars, Bill Rhode and Martin Moss.
FS Icers on Sizz: Free State High’s hockey team posted three straight wins to hike its record to 9-8 in the KC Metro High School League. David Knight and Stephen Constant had two goals apiece during the streak. Adam Murphy was in goal. Other goal scorers were Ian Pope, Matt Lawrence and Colin Davis.
Flames Triumph: Sport 2 Sport Flames eighth-grade girls basketball team won the MAYB Invitational last weekend. Team members are Michelle Deluna, Megan Ramsey, Lynsey Lawrence, Jamie Stinson, Jenna Snook, Kelsey Chipman, Drew Huff and Sydney Wilson.
LABA Meeting Sunday: Lawrence Amateur Baseball Association will hold a player-parent meeting for those interested in American Legion baseball this summer at 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Legion post. For information, call Carl Brooks at 785 594-3921.

Top 10 Finishers: Meredith West, Kathy Heflin, Mallory West and Jillian Hay of Lawrence Gymnastics Academy all placed in the top 10 at the Land of Oz gymnastics meet last Saturday in Wichita.
Tennis Ratings: Anyone interested in obtaining an official National Tennis Rating can attend a program session at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 24 at the Lawrence Tennis Center. A rating is required for USTA league play. For information, call Kalissa Kaufman at 843-4686.
Heitzman Wins: Paul Heitzman of Eudora won the ages 70-74 division of the Conoco Rodeo 10K on Saturday in Houston in a time of 42:58.
Women’s Rugby: Kansas University women’s rugby is preparing for the spring season and looking for new players. Any woman ages 18 and over is eligible. You don’t have to be a KU student. For information, call Sarah Ratzlaff at 766-1366.
Spring Sports: A league organizational meeting for managers interested in entering teams in Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department adult spring basketball or volleyball leagues will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the community building.
