Charlene M. Flott

Topeka ? Services for Charlene M. Flott, 88, Topeka, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, Topeka. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Flott died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Rolling Hills Health Center, Topeka.

She was born Nov. 15, 1913, in Topeka, the daughter of Charles R. and Viola (Pressler) Addis. She was a lifelong Topeka resident.

Mrs. Flott graduated from Topeka High School in 1929 and later from Clark’s Business School. She worked as a secretary for many years. She also worked for the Kansas Legislature and various insurance and real estate companies in Topeka. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and Shawnee Country Club, Topeka.

She married Henry E. Flott on July 17, 1936. He died Nov. 6, 1989.

An infant daughter, Susan, died earlier.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane C. Senne, Lawrence; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, Topeka, where the family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
