DeSoto ? Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Ann Walling, 74, DeSoto, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora. Burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Walling died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at Olathe Medical Center.

She was born July 29, 1928, in Topeka, the daughter of James A. and Myrtle O. (Anderson) Grady.

Mrs. Walling was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.

She married Jack Walling on Jan. 7, 1968, in Overland Park. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Tracy Newcomer McCarty, Edgerton; a half-sister, Monnie Ogg, Phoenix; and a grandson.

A son, Earl Thomas Newcomer III, died April 1, 1994.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary’s Eudora Chapel, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
