The future groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School. He received a degree from Kansas University. He is a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.

Reed-Nichols

Heather D. Reed and Jason A. Nichols, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Daniel Reed and Karen Reed, both of Lawrence. She is a 2002 graduate of Kansas University. She will work for McGladrey and Pullen as an accountant in the firm’s tax practice in January.

The future groom is the son of David Nichols and Pam Nusser, both of Riverside, Calif. He is a 2000 graduate of California Polytechnic State University. He works for Bartlett and West Engineers Inc. as a structural engineer in its Topeka office.

The couple plan a March 1, 2003, wedding at First Church of the Nazarene in Lawrence.

The future bride is a 1998 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2002 graduate of Harding University.

The future groom is the son of Otto Kruger Jr., Stilwell, and Maggie Kruger, Lawrence. He is a 1998 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2002 graduate of Kansas University.

Gillespie-Dawson

The future bride is the daughter of the late Therese and John Gillespie of Middletown, N.J.

She is a graduate of Mater Dei High School, New Monmouth, N.J. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Rutgers University, a master’s degree in French from Middlebury College and a doctorate in French from New York University. She is an assistant professor of French at Kansas University.

The future groom is the son of Beverly and Donn Dawson, Westlake, Ohio.

He is a graduate of Westlake High School, Westlake, Ohio. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business from the University of Akron and bachelor of arts degree in history and international relations from Cleveland State University. He is a software consultant at KU.

The couple plan a May 3, 2003, wedding at St. Lawrence Catholic Chapel in Lawrence.
