The Crackerjack 4-H Club met Dec. 11 at the McLouth Community Building.

The meeting was called to order by Audrey Deeken, president.

Members answered roll call by telling whether they have been naughty or nice. Tyler Ottensmeier and Brad Kabus led members in song. The minutes were read by Tiffany Kramer, secretary. Holly Kitterman gave the treasurer’s report. Katie Walbridge and Ashlee McClelland gave reporter’s reports.

Club buddies were assigned. Older members will mentor new and younger members.

The members were divided into five groups, which then set goals for the club.

Doug Walbridge was voted in as the club’s “Kiss The Pig” candidate.

Members were told to see Lynn McGhee or Susie Deeken after the meeting for carnival raffle tickets. Members were asked to try to sell at least one book each. Jeni Newman gave a project talk.

The club had a Christmas bowling party on Dec. 8. Many club members rang bells for Salvation Army during the holiday season.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 8 in the McLouth school cafeteria. Members are to wear mismatched shoes.
