Topeka ? She was born Nov. 16, 1905, in Big Springs, the daughter of Harley I. and Cora F. (Shaffer) Spencer. She grew up in Big Springs and lived there until she moved to Topeka in the 1950s.

Ms. Spencer was a homemaker and worked at Hotel Kansas and Supply Depot. She was a member of California Acres Church of Christ.

Survivors include a brother, Frank Spencer, Lawrence; and a sister, Arlene Johnson, Carbondale.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive them from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today.
