If you like warm weather, you'll get an early Christmas gift Wednesday -- temperatures will stay in the 50s through the afternoon.
"Those of us from Colorado would prefer cold and snow," said Matt Makens, 6News meteorologist.
Makens said Wednesday's forecast calls for a mix of sunny skies and some clouds.
"It's just going to be a nice day," he said.
Thursday through Monday, the forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds, with high temperatures in the 40s, and the overnight lows dropping below freezing.
"Each day is going to have a mix of sun and clouds," he said.
On Saturday and Monday there will be more clouds and the forecast could change to include some precipitation, he said.
Wednesday's high of 63 in the morning was close to the record high of 67 set back in 1976. Last year on this date, the high temperature was 54. Normal high temperatures for late December is in the low 40s, with lows in the low 20s.
