Calla McAlexander

Tonganoxie ? Graveside services for Calla McAlexander, 83, Tonganoxie, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hubbel Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie.

Mr. McAlexander died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

He was born April 30, 1919, in Ottawa, the son of Monroe and Emma (Caswell) McAlexander.

Mr. McAlexander had worked for Kansas University Maintenance Department.

He married Winifred C. McAlexander. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include six sons, Calvin, Princeton, Cleo and Mike, Lawrence, John, Claremore, Okla., Dennis, Ft. Meyers, Fla., and David, Kansas City, Kan.; three daughters, Judy Markley, Ashland, Ore., Vicky Durkee, Cedar City, Utah, and Kathy Walters, Lehigh, Fla.; a brother, Monroe Jr., Denver; a half-brother, George Wampler, Oskaloosa; 28 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
