Perkins

Robert and Betty Perkins, Lawrence, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering given by their children.

Robert Perkins and Betty Wilson were married Dec. 16, 1942, in Olathe.

They are Lawrence High School graduates. After they were married, they farmed in the Lawrence, Eudora and Wellsville areas. They have retired.

The couple’s children are Perry and Joyce Perkins, Arkansas City, Kan., and James and Brenda Perkins, Parkville, Mo.

They have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
