Richmond – Wellsville HighâÂÂs girls basketball team lost its opener in the Central Heights Tournament, 39-16, to Osawatomie on Thursday.

Eagles coach Brent Shaffer called it one of the worst games heâÂÂd ever seen.

âÂÂWe just came out wandering around. They did the same thing, then all of sudden they made a few shots and we just couldnâÂÂt snap out of it,â Shaffer said. âÂÂI thought the score mightâÂÂve been the other way, but we never could get going.âÂÂ

Wellsville will play Central Heights at 6:30 tonight in the round-robin tournament.
