Williamsburg sweeps Seabury

? Things went pretty much like Seabury Academy coach Tracy Kitson expected Friday in the Seahawks’ first Kansas State High School Activities Assn. game.

Her eight-person squad scored only nine points in its lopsided 44-9 loss.

“There were some positives,” Kitson stressed. “We never gave up, and for the most part we played pretty well defensively.”

However, only two Seahawks scored Friday, and those two accounted for only two points in the first half. Seabury committed far too many turnovers, Kitson said, and the Panthers jumped to a 28-2 halftime lead.
