Kenneth O. Plumb

? He was born April 8, 1911, in Webb City, Mo., the son of Charles Joseph and Lenora (Jenkins) Plumb. He moved in 1943 from Clinton, Mo., to DeSoto. In 1999 he moved to Olathe.

Mr. Plumb attended Sedalia Business College. He was a clerk and general laborer for Procter & Gamble Co. in Kansas City, Kan., for 27 years until he retired in 1976. He also worked at Hercules Powder Plant in DeSoto.

He was a member of College Church of the Nazarene and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America for 35 years in DeSoto and northeast Kansas.

He married Daisie K. Williams on June 18, 1932, in Clinton, Mo. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include four sons, Ken Jr., Pasadena, Calif., Jim, Jefferson City, Mo., John, Sedalia, Mo., and Gary, Olathe; a brother, Warren G., Parkville, Mo.; three sisters, Georgia Rodenhauser, Woodbridge, Va., Pauline Brooke, Bentonville, Mo., and Virginia Schooler, Joplin, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A grandson died earlier.
