Tonganoxie ? She was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Lawrence, the daughter of George and Norma (McCuan) Adams.

She grew up in Lawrence and had lived the last 32 years in Tonganoxie.

Mrs. Bunce married Herbert Hornburger on Nov. 10, 1940. They later divorced. She married Ralph Bunce on May 23, 1996, in Falls City, Neb. He died Sept. 13, 1996.

Survivors include a son, Darrell Hornburger, Hobbs, N.M.; a daughter, Sylvia Proffitt, Hobbs, N.M.; and two stepsons, William Bunce, Linwood, and Harold Bunce, Lecompton.
