Tyrrell D. Kooken

? He was born Feb. 15, 1944, in Scottsbluff, Neb., the son of Wayne and Violet (Radar) Kooken.

Mr. Kooken served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. He retired from J.E. Dunn in June as a carpenter foreman. He was a member of National Rifle Assn., Carpenter Union Local No. 168 and MABA.

He married Bea Licodo. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Ben, Olathe, and Ed, Twentynine Palms, Calif.; two daughters, Debra Pierce, Kansas City, Kan., and Barbie Hartwell, Lawrence; two brothers, Waymond, Olathe, and L.G., Ulysses; four sisters, Darlene Kraft, Gravois Mills, Mo., Darla Kelley, Pasadena, Tex., Doris Randolph, San Antonio, and Shirley Kooken, Bremerton, Wash.; and 11 grandchildren.
