Christina Sophia Haught

Memorial services for Christina Sophia Haught, 80, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 14 at Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church. Funeral services were Saturday in Edmond, Okla. Burial was in Luther Cemetery, Luther, Okla.

Mrs. Haught died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at Lakeview Manor Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Lincoln County, Okla., the daughter of Frank and Mary Osterman. She grew up in the Luther area and graduated from Luther High School, where she lettered in basketball in 1941. She lived in Oklahoma City until 1996, when she moved to Lawrence.

Mrs. Haught owned and operated Dixie Cafe on Route 66 with her husband from 1956 to 1966. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

She married Jack Haught on Aug. 8, 1950, in Guthrie, Okla. He died Oct. 13, 1971.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Hogan, Oklahoma City; a son, Rick Haught, Lawrence; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
