She was born Nov. 8, 1947, in Austin, Minn., the daughter of Theodore and Pearl Reed Brown. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School in St. Joseph, Mo.

Mrs. Drummond was manager of Americas Work Force for the state of Kansas for the past eight years. She had previously worked for Yellow Freight Co. in Overland Park and Hallmark Cards Inc., in Kansas City, Mo.

She was a member of Mensa Society, Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 852, American Legion Auxiliary, Elks Lodge and Eagles Lodge.

She married David Drummond on Jan. 12, 1991, in St. Joseph, Mo. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include her mother and stepfather, Pearl and Theodore Brown, Raytown, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Kelly Drummond, St. Joseph, Mo.; and a sister, Cindy Ann Perez, Kansas City, Mo.

Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
