Hernandez-Heffley

April Marie Hernandez and Jeffrey Bryan Heffley, both of Lawrence, were married May 25, 2002, in Bonner Springs with Lew Hinshaw of Plymouth Congregational Church officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Abel and Lee Hernandez, Flower Mound, Tex. The groom is the son of Stan and Lynn Heffley, Lawrence.

Matron of honor was Jenny Smith. Best man was Josh Hernandez.

Bridesmaids were Kellie Riley and Holly Heffley. Groomsmen were Chris Ingham and Chris Smith.

Gabe Hernandez and Brent Ingham were ushers. Melanie Heffley was reader. Madison Weber was flower girl. Kozmo, couple’s dog, was ring bearer. Katey Lohman was vocalist. Nikki Cooper was pianist. Jill Tisdale and Ashleigh Garcia were program attendants. Stacie Gattis and Catherine Bay were guest book attendants. Courtney Roberts was coordinator.

A reception followed at Lake of the Forest in Bonner Springs.

The bride is a Lawrence High School graduate. She graduated from Kansas University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in art education.

The groom is a Lawrence High School graduate. He graduated from Kansas University in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed as a loan officer for Countrywide Homeloans.

The couple reside in Lewisville, Tex.

Harding-Stump

Nancy Harding and Paul Stump, both of Lawrence, were married June 15, 2002, in rural Douglas County with the Rev. Herb Markham officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Harold Hunter, Topeka, and the late Doris Hunter. The groom is the son of Marjorie Stump, Liberty, Mo., and the late Ferman Stump.

Maid of honor was Holly Harding. Best man was Logan Harding.

A reception followed at Critterfox Farm in rural Douglas County.

Cari Shafer, Katherine Anderson, Kristine Peterson, Nancy Smith and Lynda Markham helped with the reception.

The bride graduated from Topeka West High School and attended Washburn University. She is employed by Pace Alliance Inc. in Lawrence.

The groom graduated from Liberty High School and attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. He is employed by GARMIN International in Olathe.

The couple reside in rural Douglas County.
