Lawrence Police late Thursday were searching for a suspect in a possible armed shoplifting at Dillons, 1740 Mass. Police received the call shortly after 10 p.m. Initial reports indicated a woman threatened a clerk with a knife and left the store without paying for school supplies. Officers investigating the case could not be reached for comment.
