Coal Creek ? He was born April 30, 1931, in Arrington, the son of Melvin Daniel and Elsie Elizabeth (Oswald) Reichart. He attended Coal Creek Grade School and graduated in 1949 from Atchison County Community High School.

Mr. Reichart was a livestock dealer and farmer. He was a member of Coal Creek United Methodist Church and a charter member of the 2500 Sale Club at Holton Livestock Exchange.

He married Rosalie Freeman Dec. 19, 1958, in Tonganoxie. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Russell Glenn, Holton; two daughters, Melany Jo Sattler, Palmer, Tex., and Ruth Ann Myer, Shawnee; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Coal Creek United Methodist Church.
