BCA critical of search

? As the NCAA narrows the search for its new president to fewer than two dozen candidates, the Black Coaches Assn. is worried minority candidates are not getting enough attention.

Floyd Keith, the BCA’s executive director, said neither the NCAA nor the company hired to conduct the initial search has contacted his organization about potential candidates.

Outgoing president Cedric Dempsey announced in January that he would retire at the end of the year.
