Bali offers tips for finding a bra that fits

Fall and spring offer an array of new looks in bras from lacy to boyish to seamless. But unless the bra fits right, then all the shopping has been done in vain.

Here are some guidelines from Bali.

Get fitted often. Bra sizes change with age and life experience, like having a baby or losing weight.

Don’t get hung up on sizes, even within one brand. Fabrics, styles and cuts vary from designer to designer, so be sure to try on several sizes until you find one that fits just right.

Make sure that the back band runs across the middle of your back. A well-fitted bra shouldn’t ride up.

The bra should lay flat and snug against your rib cage.

There should be no overflow in the cups or gaping at the top of the cups.

The bra should be hooked on the middle hook in order to get the best fit.
