Jerold L. Wilson

Services for Jerold L. Wilson, 63, Lawrence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church.

Mr. Wilson died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 26, 1938, in Woodson County, the son of Goldie Puckett. He received a bachelor of general studies at Kansas University. He lived in Lawrence for more than 50 years.

A six-year Navy veteran, Mr. Wilson was an engineering supervisor for the city of Lawrence, where he had worked in the engineering department for more than 40 years. He was a member of Westside Presbyterian Church and was recently attending First Christian Church.

He married Judith Marie Pray on Feb. 9, 1963, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include four daughters, Lauren Marie and Margaret Lynn, both of Lawrence, Rebecca Catherine, Kansas City, and Ashley Nicole, of the home; a sister, Loraine Sparks, Alton, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
