Lecompton ? Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating Thursday to determine how a man died. The man’s body was found inside a Lecompton home.

The sheriff’s department was notified of the body about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Officers said they thought the man had been dead for several days, but didn’t know the cause of death.

An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon. A sheriff’s officer said no foul play is suspected.

Officers said they would not release the name of the man until relatives have been notified.
