Pratt ? Openings remain for the fall Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop.

BOW is for women who might be interested in hunting, fishing or other outdoors activities, but don’t know where to begin.

This year’s workshop will be Sept. 27-29 at Rock Springs 4-H Center, near Junction City.

Seminars will help participants become familiar with equipment and all related procedures of the activities.

Experts will be on hand to help participants, who will be able to choose from more than 40 different activities, including hunting, fishing, wild game cooking, float tubing, archery, stream ecology, canoeing, natural history, backpacking and camping.

Designed for women 18 years and older, the workshop costs $180 and will include six meals, two nights’ lodging, supplies and use of equipment.
