Study finds fault with many health-related Internet sites
The Commonwealth Fund has analyzed 40 popular health and medical Web sites and found that most are highly unorganized and contain information that is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.
Many of the sites also lack important information about who is paying for the site and what is done with information it might receive about its users.
Before anyone relies on medical information from any Web site, they should check with their physician.
