? A brief look at Sunday’s play in the final round of the Masters:

Winner: Tiger Woods, who shot a 1-under 71 to win for a second straight year.

Second: Retief Goosen finished second, shooting a 74 after entering the final round tied with Woods. Phil Mickelson was third, four shots back.

How many: It was the third Masters win for Woods, who first won the tournament in 1997. That ties him with Jimmy Demaret, Sam Snead, Gary Player and Nick Faldo. Jack Nicklaus won the most, six in all.

Lots of majors: Woods won his seventh major title, and his first since winning here last year.

How he did it: Woods made two birdies on the first three holes to take the lead, then played 1-over the rest of the way.

Key stat: Woods is the youngest to win seven majors. He did it at the age of 26 years, three months and 15 days. Jack Nicklaus held the old record, winning the 1967 U.S. Open at the age of 27 years, four months and 28 days.

Notable: Woods is 7-0 in majors in which he has either led or been tied for the lead going into the final round.
