Readers, choose your comics

It’s election day. Actually, it’s election week.

It’s time again to ask you, our readers, what you think of the comics published in the Journal-World.

We know you care.

Experience has proved to us that many of our readers take the comics very seriously. When a cartoonist goes on vacation and repeat strips run, our phones ring. And when we think a strip has run its course and drop it in favor of a new offering, the phones really start ringing.

We get samples of new comics on a regular basis. We are considering adding a few of those and dropping some of the existing lineup.

But we need your help. We’re asking you to rank your three favorite comics listed on the accompanying ballot on page 4D.

Then we’d like you to rank your three least-favorite features.

And we’d like to know whether there are any comics you’ve seen elsewhere that you’d like us to add to our lineup. If so, rank them right along with the rest of the list.

You can vote using the form on page 4D inside today’s Arts & Living section and drop it in the mail or vote online at www.ljworld.com/comics. One vote per person only, please.

The polls are open!
