Mary Jean Lasher

Mrs. Lasher died Friday, April 12, 2002, at her home.

She was born March 24, 1915, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Elmer Seth and Malissa Belle (Broyles) Belveal. She graduated from the Kansas University nursing program.

Mrs. Lasher was a retired licensed practical nurse and a homemaker. She was a former member of White Church Order of the Eastern Star, Kansas City, Kan.

She married Arthur Tracy Lasher Jr. on Aug. 16, 1933. He died June 15, 1969.

Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Lasher, Liberty, Mo., and James L. Lasher, of the home; two sisters, Virginia M. Eatherton, Norco, Calif., and Erma Mount, Medford, Ore.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A son, Arthur Tracy Lasher III, died on March 25, 1997.
