KU Med Program earns top recognition

The Continuing Medical Education program at the Kansas University School of Medicine has been given a rare six-year renewal of its accreditation.

The program, which coordinates post-graduate courses for physicians across Kansas, received its renewal from the national Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. A six-year renewal is the highest level of accreditation and was given to only 6 percent of schools that applied.

In the past, KU’s program has received four-year accreditation renewals, which is standard.
