Alice Morgan

She was born Nov. 9, 1902, at a farm in Lansing, the daughter of Sam and Mary (Lallier) Parisa. She graduated from Lansing High School. She attended Kansas University and graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in political science.

Mrs. Morgan taught school and worked as a stenographer. She also worked in dress design and made and sold ceramics in California. She and her husband lived in Palo Alto, Calif., until 1979 when they moved to Lawrence.

She married James Morgan in 1945. He died in 1996.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews, including Mary Dresser Burchill, Lawrence.
