Four Lawrence high school students are among 100 finalists in a national computer art scholarship competition.

Russell Bush and Dan Stahl, both of Free State High School, and Allison Heape and Ryan Nairn, both of Lawrence High School, are finalists in the 2002 Imation Computer Art Scholarship Program.

Their online work was selected from more than 900 entries.

Twenty-five finalists will receive a $1,000 scholarship and an invitation to the national awards ceremony in May at St. Paul, Minn.

Artwork is evaluated on originality, creativity, composition, use of color, craft and technical skills.
