Cleon ‘Shorty’ Leslie Fuller

? Services for Cleon “Shorty” Leslie Fuller, 85, Olathe, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at W.L. Frye & Son Funeral Home, Olathe. Burial will be in Olathe Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Fuller died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at his home.

He was born May 9, 1916, in Kusa, Okla., the son of Percy O. and Ota May (Hamby) Fuller. He lived most of his life in Olathe.

Mr. Fuller entered the U.S. Army in 1944, and served in World War II.

He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2993.

He married Pearl Elizabeth Newson on Nov. 12, 1937, in Olathe. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Lyndel, Olathe, and Ronald, Clifton Hill, Mo.; five daughters, Charlene Rice, Wellsville, and Joyce Smith, Judy Fuller, Janice Fuller and Cheryl Navarro, all of Olathe; a brother, Percy A., Olathe; 33 grandchildren; 50 great-

grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
